The Cargo Lid Lock is an extra-long vinyl-coated cable with a combination lock. It’s designed for use with the Cargo Lid that comes with the Storm Box, and can also be used to secure the Cargo Lid Mini to the Storm Box Mini. The Cargo Lid Lock makes the Storm Box with Cargo Lid less attractive to petty thieves, so you can make a quick stop somewhere without worrying so much about your stuff.

Not a sufficient or robust lock

This lock doesn't really do the job of making the storm box and lid secure - It's more like a very minor deterrent. After locking and tightening, it is still possible to pull the whole lid and lock right off. Additionally, I found that after only a few days of use, the process of tightening the lock strips the vinyl coating off the cable. The method for locking the lid and the quality of this lock don't feel quite up to Tern quality.
