TERN PARTNERS WITH UPWAY
Urban mobility specialist Tern Bicycles has announced a partnership with Upway, the marketplace for refurbished e-bikes, in conjunction with the Tern North America network of authorized dealers. Riders can trade in their current e-bike at a Tern Dealer and receive a credit, including a limited-
time bonus toward purchase of a new Tern e-bike.

All Tern e-bikes are certified to the UL 2849 standard, considered the gold
standard for e-bike system safety and covering the entire e-bike electrical system, including the motor, display unit, cables and wirings, battery, and charger.

In addition, all Tern cargo bikes are certified to the rigorous DIN 79010 standard and meet specific test requirements for the braking system, higher load-bearing tests for the frame and fork, and additional safety tests for child passengers, in order to account for the heavily-loaded nature of cargo bikes.
