This basket fits easily and securely onto the back of my Tern Link D7i. It has a nice mesh bottom, and it's very easy to fit things in here. The one big issue with it is that when it's loaded up near the weight limit (meaning, my backpack with my laptop in it and my bike locks), the handle has a lot of flex, and I do worry that it will break. I bought the KlickFix Alumino front basket for my bike a few months ago on BikeInn because it has enough wheel clearance to work on the Tern, and the handle on that one is really good in comparison. I've thought about getting the rear basket version of it but the type of mount sold on BikeInn isn't the right one for this bike even though it looks like KlickFix does have multiple mounting options on their website.
I like this basket. The material feels good, it holds a lot, and it's nice and easy to bring along with you.
Two reasons why it's a four and not a five for me: if you're using the Cargo Hold 52 panniers, it's a bit difficult to get at the latches for the Market Basket. Additionally, I've had the sizing peg on the bottom accidentally get shifted into the incorrect position, and it's kinda fiddly to push it back into the right spot.
The Tern Market Basket is just what I had in mind for our new Vectron S10 bikes. I got two bikes and two baskets. These clamp on securely and give the capability to carry items needed with ease. The baskets fit the bike perfectly.
The gen 2 basket is extremely attractive and well-built, and pleasantly stable, easily clicked onto most any rack.
