I chose this over the transporteur for the flexibility. The platform is smaller but it is completely flat, which allowed me to mount a heavy duty front crate that’s 50% larger than what the transporteur allows. The flat platform will also make it easier to haul odd, large items if the need arrises.

It may seem like overkill, but for summer picnics with the kid amd bog grocery runs we’ve had the front crate and our cargohold 37’s completely loaded. I’m a huge fan of the massive front “basket” storage the hauler allows.

Easy to install, and a huge improvement over hanging bags of toddler accessories from the handlebars when everything doesn’t fit in my backpack!!

Usual good Tern accessory quality. Made for the Combo Mount, even easier with the Quick Release CMT bolts. Part of the "Tern-verse" of accessories that all work together, fit perfectly. And can work with a wide variety of third-party products, as well. Glad I bought it.
