For Me An Essential

My RidePouch holds an optional ABUS chain accessory for my Tern NBD's standard ABUS frame/cafe lock. I mounted it on the downtube's water bottle mounts, where it's completely stable. The Pouch has an internal stiffener that holds its shape, even with the chain inside, no saggy-bag drooping.

The lower frame position is very handy when I park & lock, and it can neatly & quickly accept the entire 130 cm-length chain. I don't miss having a permanent water bottle cage in that location because my riding is mostly short local distances. But I do have a Tern bossless bottle cage for the seat post, to strap on those few occasions I do plan to carry water.

For me the RidePouch is an essential accessory to stow a chain. Not only does it provide a secure, convenient and unobtrusive storage location, but the quick ease of use encourages me to chain-lock the bike regularly.
