I’ve been riding a folding Tern for 2 years, and I decided that I want the option of an easy commute. I finally invested in this beastly ride. My commutes are so much more enjoyable now. Carrying a 20-30lb backpack in a moderately hilly city is fine sometimes, but when it’s windy out, forget about it. No more. I can face the wind bravely in turbo mode and no longer find myself getting pushed to a standstill by headwinds. I love this bike.

I bring it on the train daily in the Boston area (commuter rail and Amtrak). It’s tough if you have to carry it for some reason, but it can be done (I’m 5’2” and 130lbs).

I know it’s expensive. But you get what you pay for. Even my 6’3” 275lb brother-in-law loves this bike. It’s strong. It’s nimble. It makes biking hilly terrain easy. My spouse and I each have one, we love them. I’ve even attached a trailer and all was good. We also bought the travel bags and store them on our boat’s flybridge when we are cruising. Dropping the bikes down with our crane, and exploring each destination is really a great way to adventure.

I love this thing! It's the best commuter bike I've ever owned! It folds in seconds, and it fits on the escalator so I don't have to take the elevator at the metro (during rush hour this really slows you down if you have to take the elevator). It rides well and is very nimble thanks to those 20" tires, which don't seem to sacrifice any stability despite being smaller. Also, the electric assist is amazing! If you're on the fence about buying the Vektron, buy it! It's a great folding bike, a great e-bike, and a great commuter bike. Triple threat! You won't regret it.
